This issue looks at Obama’s support of jihad against America.

SINCE YOU ASKED

In President Obama”s June 4th “New Beginnings” speech in Cairo, he spoke of the obligation of American Muslims to perform Zakat (almsgiving) as an expression of Religious Freedom: “Freedom of religion is central to the ability of peoples to live together. We must always examine the ways in which we protect it. For instance, in the United States, rules on charitable giving have made it harder for Muslims to fulfill their religious obligation. That’s why I’m committed to working with American Muslims to ensure that they can fulfill zakat.”

This may seem harmless and noble until to take a closer look at what zakat actually entails. According to the Mission Islam website:

“The obligation of Zakat [one of the five pillars of Islam] is mandatory on every Muslim who possesses the minimum Nisaab, whether the person is man, woman, young, old, sane or insane. Zakat recipients would include the poor and needy, administrators of Zakat, debtors, converts to Islam, bondsmen, wayfarers and those fulfilling the “way of Allah”, Jihad…  By this is meant to finance a Jihad effort in the path of Allah, not for Jihad for other reasons. The fighter (Mujahid) will be given as salary what will be enough for him. If he needs to buy arms or some other supplies related to the war effort, Zakat money should be used provided the effort is to raise the banner of Islam.”

Does anyone see a problem here? Our President wants American Muslims to be able to perform zakat, part of the proceeds go to Jihad, and Jihad has already been declared against the United States. Those who have done their homework are expressing opposition, presenting specific counter-terrorism measures, but their efforts are being met with stiff resistance by the ACLU. (Who ever saw that one coming?) An ACLU report laid out their case for removal of these federal counterterrorism restrictions by arguing that their research shows that U.S. terrorism financing policies and practices are seriously undermining American Muslims” protected constitutional liberties and violating their fundamental human rights to freedom of religion, freedom of association, and freedom from discrimination.

The ACLU found that these policies and practices are neither fair nor effective, and are undermining American values of due process and fairness. This report outlines clear measures the Obama administration and Congress should take to ensure American Muslims can exercise their religion while protecting charities from mistaken targeting and abuse, and simultaneously promoting national security and humanitarian aid.

AS I SEE IT

Will we never learn? After learning that the Holy Land Foundation was actually a front for terrorist funding, are we to believe that all other Islamic charities are legitimate?  Despite zakat”s supposed noble purposes, charities and Islam are incompatible. Islam has no place for compassion. When was the last time you saw a Muslim country leading the charge to bring aid after a natural disaster? In Islam, the individual is sacrificed on the altar of community. The spread of Islam is the goal and the primary means is deception. As Muhammad said, “War is deception,” and Islam refers to all non-Muslims as “Dar-al-Harb” (the House of War).

Did our President not really understand the implication of his call to promote zakat? He”s much too smart for that. He knew exactly what he was saying. How much more evidence do we need that America”s best interests are not his goal. Look at those in his inner circle-communists, socialists, progressives-all, by their own writings, determined to destroy America”s free market economy. Wake up, America!

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE

Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the edge of the pool and throw them fish.
