This issue looks at Iran”s recent internal unrest, weapons testing, and her defense pact with Syria, the FBI”s determination to downplay terrorist threats, emerging Muslim training camps for women on U.S. soil, China”s solution to global warming, some interesting sayings of Muhammad, and a writing tip for punctuating indirect questions.

OUR ISRAELI CONNECTION

Mike Evans reports
Protests against the fraudulent election that kept Iranian President Ahmadinejad in power have broken out again in Iran in recent days. Tens of thousands took to the streets in protest, despite violence and brutal repression from the secret police. Hundreds were beaten and many were arrested. The unrest within the country is increasing the pressure on the government to focus attention outside their borders-and their nuclear program is a vital part of that effort. Unless something changes, Israel will be at war within twelve months.

In the last couple of days I was told some new confidential information about the state of Iran”s readiness to deliver a working nuclear bomb.An Israeli general told me: Iran will not back down because they think the US president is too weak to stop them. Iran has already enriched 1.7 tons of uranium for a nuclear bomb at its facilities in Natanz. Iran has been testing neutron detonators.

Then yesterday, Iran test-fired an upgraded version of its most advanced missile, the Sajjil-2, with a range of about 1,200 miles. That means it can hit anywhere in Israel, our U.S. bases in the Gulf region and even deliver a warhead to parts of Europe!

Joel Rosenberg reports
Iran and Syria have just signed an aggressive new defense pact. Iranian leaders have also been testing more accurate ballistic missiles and meeting with Hamas leaders, pledging to help these Palestinian Radicals destroy Israel. The Israeli Defense Forces have been running war games in recent days, simulating attacks from Syria and Hezbollah, just in case.

IT’S NEWS TO ME

GrassTopsUSA reports
Once aboard the plane, they spoke loudly in Arabic.

They changed seats without authorization. They roamed the plane over the objections of the flight attendants, entering the first class area without permission or legitimate purpose. They moved their stowed luggage from the overhead bins for no apparent reason. One even attempted to open the cockpit door, explaining that he mistakenly thought it was the lavatory. Their behavior was described as disruptive and suspicious, which so alarmed the flight crew that the Muslim passengers were removed from the airplane by order of the captain.

The above describes the activities of Hamdan al-Shalawi and Muhammed al-Qudhaieen, two passengers aboard an America West flight from Phoenix to Washington, DC in November 1999. Despite the FBI”s eventual admission that this incident was a “dry run” to assess airline security and flight crew response in preparation for the 9/11 terrorist hijackings, the incident earned only a footnote in the 9/11 Commission Report and its significance was deliberately downplayed. At that time, there were allegations of profiling by the airline, flight crew and authorities, and accusations of hypersensitivity and hysterics by many who believed that witnesses were making “too much” of the incident.

Believe it or not
A senior official of the Chinese ministry responsible for the country”s coercive population-control program is citing the controversial “one-child” policy as a successful way to reduce emissions of the gases blamed for global warming.

WorldNetDaily reports
A new video released by the Christian Action Network shows Muslim women at a compound in New York state practicing throat-slitting techniques and assault weapons attacks. The video was distributed by the makers of the movie “Homegrown Jihad: The Terrorist Camps Around the U.S.,” which documents how a jihadist group has developed dozens of training camps across the nation.

Now the organization has posted on YouTube a “chilling” training video that shows women marching in military formation, scaling walls, engaging in hand-to-hand combat and also reveals a Muslim confirming that the organization”s own census revealed that Muslims are a majority in the United States and they are claiming it as their own.

According to the Hadith (Muhammad”s Sayings):
The majority of people in hell are women (Vol. 7:124).
Muhammad”s sexual strength is equal to 30 men (Vol. 1: 268).
Unnatural sex is allowed (Vol. 6:51).

WRITING TIPS

Punctuating indirect questions
Do not use a question mark after indirect questions.

Joshua had wondered why.
He asked how old John was.
How to live–that is the essential question for
us.

Two hydrogen atoms meet. One says, “I”ve lost my electron.” The other says, “Are you sure?” The first replies, “Yes, I”m positive.”
