Cease-Fire between Israel and Hamas Officially in Effect
The Blaze reports: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas set to go into effect Wednesday at 2 p.m. Eastern time. The agreement calls for an immediate stop in violence; for Hamas to halt all rocket fire from militant groups in the Gaza Strip; and for Israel to end its policy of assassinating top Hamas officials, the Associated Press reported. Israel also pledged to ease its blockade of Gaza after a brief cooling off period. Read more.

MSNBC Reports: Hamas Missiles Harmless Israel Overreacting and Needlessly Killing Civilians
GrassTopsUSA reports: MSNBC didn’t simply report the idiotic lie. MSNBC pressed the point and beat it like a cheap gong. Fortunately, Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren brilliantly defended his position and left the MSNBC anchor looking stupid. Is MSNBC clueless… anti-Semitic… both? Watch for yourself and decide.

News from the Israel Project
Wednesday’s bus bombing in Tel Aviv is now being claimed by the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, a group linked to the Palestinian Fatah party that controls the West Bank, according to Palestinian sources cited by Israeli media. Hamas, an Iran-backed group that controls the Gaza Strip, has “blessed” the attack, boasting about the bombing on social media and celebrating it on Hamas TV.

As an official ceasefire between Israel and Gaza-based terror groups took hold 9 p.m. Israel time, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak declared Wednesday that Operation Pillar of Defense had been completed successfully. Evaluating Israel’s progress in degrading Hamas’s ability to terrorize Israeli civilians, firstly by targeting Hamas’s military hierarchy and secondly by directly depriving the Iran-backed terror group of its weapons, Barak stated “all our objectives were reached, taking out the Fajr rockets, rocket launching pads, and Hamas offices.”

The system managed to intercept 80% to 90% of the missiles against which it was deployed, with Iron Dome’s sophisticated mapping technology letting pass hundreds of other missiles which it calculated would land in open areas. Journalists and analysts described how the system “managed to make Tel Aviv and other cities nearly impregnable” to Hamas launched thousands or rockets and mortars. Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak described Iron Dome’s success as “unprecedented”.

Watch Video of Strategic Israeli Strikes against Hamas Targets

Despite battling the missile war waged by the Iran-backed Hamas terror organization that controls the Gaza Strip, Israel continues to transfer goods and supplies into Gaza to minimize the impact of hostilities on Palestinian civilians. Gaza does not experience food scarcity, or housing scarcity, or even hi-tech scarcity. Nonetheless Israel continues yearly supplies in the hundreds of tons and millions of meters of food, water, and fuel.

Ron Paul: ‘Secession is a Deeply American Principle’…
Politico reports: Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) said Monday that secession was a “deeply American principle,” amid a growing number of people petitioning the White House to let their states secede from the U.S. “Secession is a deeply American principle. This country was born through secession. Some felt it was treasonous to secede from England, but those ‘traitors’ became our country’s greatest patriots,” the former presidential candidate wrote in a post on his House website. “There is nothing treasonous or unpatriotic about wanting a federal government that is more responsive to the people it represents.” Read more.

Church Failure Led to Obama Re-Election
LastResistence.com reports: In colonial America, virtually all news was disseminated from the pulpits of churches throughout the colonies. Besides being a place to worship God, churches were the only real town meeting center and it was the role of the pastor to keep his flock informed. When it came time to rebel against the British, the announcements were made from the pulpits. The call to arms was not only considered to be a civic duty but a religious one as well. Many a pastor also picked up his rifle and went to fight for America’s freedom. Read more.

We as a nation should ask these questions because behind closed doors many things can be said that have very dangerous impacts upon our national standings. Why did Obama decide to meet with these particular groups? First we must find out just what does Richard Trumka and the Progressive Caucus have to bring into any discussion with the President of the United States. Read more.
