You won’t believe the latest assault on Christians. Law enforcement officials are joining the fight against believers.
IT’S WORTH CONSIDERING
On the day this is posted (April 27, 2013) I will be three days into my missions trip through the Balkans. Since I am unable to present my usual Saturday news updates, I will be posting topical articles for the next three Saturdays. Here’s the first:

A Colorado sheriff is making some allegations that do not bode well for Christians inBible & flag America. According to Prowers County Undersheriff Ron Trowbridge, a recent Colorado State Police training course instructed officers to be very suspect of people who take the Bible literally. Officers should be very careful of these people, the course taught, as they are “at risk of joining the anti-government movement.” Included in this group were those who believe America was founded on godly principles, Christians who take the Bible literally, and “fundamentalists”.

These people are seen by the government as part of a “sovereign citizen” movement comprised of individuals who believe that they are free from state, local and federal laws. This larger group consists of a series of smaller loosely affiliated groups that reject many elements of governance, including, but not limited to, taxation. Trowbridge also alleges that the trainer went on to say that it was the election of a black president that spawned the anger of these “sovereign citizens.” This anger made these people dangerous because of their potential to assault law enforcement personnel. When one of the trainees suggested the failing economy was probably much more to blame, the trainer intimated that those who are not going along with the changes in America will need to be controlled by law enforcement. AS I SEE IT
What makes this even more disgusting is that the entire training program was prepared byDHS bars the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. It also looks like those who implement the program are offered lucrative positions with the DHS. At least it appears to be the case with this particular trainer. So, are you still holding on to the possibility that Barack Obama is a Christian and he has the best interests of America at heart? What we are seeing is an assault on everything that is right with America. Those with their spiritual antennae up know the assault is on, but I doubt if any of us realize just how far the deck is stacked in favor of evil of the highest order. America has never seen anything like this, and some serious testing is just down the road.

Making matters worse is the fact that this is not an isolated incident. According to the American Family Association, an Army officer has sent an email to subordinates labeling conservative Christian organizations as “domestic hate groups” and stating their values don’t align with “Army values.” AFA has obtained the 14-page email sent out by Lt. Col. Jack Rich telling other officers and soldiers at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, that, specifically, the American Family Association and the Family Research Council are “domestic hate groups” because they oppose homosexuality. Rich said: “When we see behaviors that are inconsistent with Army Values, don’t just walk by – do the right thing and address the concern before it becomes a problem.

Despite the reassurances of the President, he will not stop until he has disarmed America,Gun pile identified the troublemakers, and through intimidation or internment or worse, removed them from the scene. When I wrote my novel Dragon Slayers several years ago, I had no idea that within a decade, it would be more truth than fiction. It represents America today.
