OUR ISRAELI CONNECTION

David Zauber reports
A new Turkish movie in the widely popular “Valley of the Wolves” series is set to be released January 28th 2011, this time depicting a squad of Turkish operatives infiltrating into Israel to carry out acts of sabotage and assassination in revenge for the May 31 2010 Mavi Marmara flotilla incident in which nine Turkish citizens were killed after they attacked Israeli commandos sent to intercept their ships during an attempt to run the blockade of the Gaza Strip. A trailer for the movie, Valley of the Wolves: Palestine, was released this week. Previous movies in the series included “Valley of the Wolves; Iraq” depicting Turkish operatives taking violent revenge against bloodthirsty American troops led by a Jewish US Army doctor who used the war as a cover to harvest the organs of Iraqi peasants to sell on the black market in Tel Aviv and New York. The films have been roundly condemned by Jewish groups and others but have been widely popular in Turkey and the wider Moslem worldand is only the latest Turkish film depiction of Israelis as violent and bloodthirsty.

IT’S NEWS TO ME

Yesterday, a pastor in Wichita,

Kansas, was in court defending himself against charges involving his efforts to witness for Christ outside a mosque. Pastor Mark Holick says the incident in late August occurred as members of the Islamic Society of Wichita were marking the holy month of Ramadan. Police were called when Islamists witnessed Holick and 13 others handing out packets that included the Gospel of John, the Book of Romans in English and Arabic, and a DVD with testimonies of former Muslims who have converted to Christianity. In the words of Pastor Holick, “America is devouring itself.  I, an American/Wichita born, Wichita raised, Christian citizen am being forced by my own government to stand trial for the crime of preaching the Gospel of our Lord.  And the government”s witnesses against me are my own government and an Islamist.”

MEMRI reports
Abu Ahmad, spokesman of the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad organization, said that the resistance groups in Gaza have formed a joint headquarters to formulate a strategic defense plan and to fully coordinate their military activity. He explained that, if another war breaks out, the resistance will not restrain itself and its rockets will reach targets beyond Ashdod and Beersheba. Abu Ahmad added that the resistance is making serious efforts to transfer its expertise to the factions in the West Bank, where it is possible to operate on a daily basis against the Israeli settlements and the numerous Israeli army bases, and that if Israel withdraws to the 1967 borders, the resistance will operate from the West Bank

to free the rest of Palestine.

Vision to America reports
Developers of the controversial Park 51 Islamic community center and mosque located two blocks from Ground Zero earlier this month applied for roughly $5 million in federal grant money set aside for the redevelopment of lower Manhattan after the attacks of September 11th, according to two sources with direct knowledge of the matter. The audacious move stands to reignite the embers of a divisive debate that dominated headlines surrounding the ninth anniversary of the attacks this fall, say people vested in the issue. Elliot Spitzer said on his CNN television program recently that Islamic activist Sheikh Anjem Choudary should be in jail for advocating violence against the United States. The comment came after Choudary confirmed he was in contact with people inside the United States and was encouraging them to attack the United States. But instead of being jailed, or even under investigation, Choudary soon will be addressing an international gathering of Muslims in London where a platform will be created to exhort attendees to work for the worldwide spread of Islam and Shariah. The International Islamic Revival Conference is scheduled for Nov. 27, and Choudary is one of two headline speakers for the one-day event.
