This issue examines Barack Obama’s latest ambush of Israel and aid to terrorists, the hidden agenda of the upcoming UN Climate Change Conference, and gives rules for using commas in numbers.
OUR ISRAELI CONNECTION
One Jerusalem reports
One would expect the President of the United States to stand firm against America’s enemies and support its allies. Today however, President Obama used the forum of the United Nations to abandon Israel and embrace the unfounded demands of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). President Obama became the first US President to refer to the territories that Israel won in the (defensive) Six Day War as, “Occupied Territory.” This implies that Israel must retreat from its own land, return to indefensible ’67 borders, divide Jerusalem, and capitulate to Palestinian forces bent on destroying Israel.
A few weeks ago, One Jerusalem sent out a Red Alert warning that Obama was going to ambush Israel at the United Nations. He did it, today. Israel faces a real challenge with Obama. On the one hand, President Obama continually pressures Israel to give up its secure borders. On the other hand, Obama allows for existential threats to Israel, by refusing to engage the US in actively stopping Iran’s nuclear weapons program.
U.S. Gives Aid to Terrorists
We Americans just spent $20,000,000 to move members/supporters of Hamas, a terrorist organization, to the United States. They will receive housing, food, and anything else they need. The passage of H.R. 1388 wasn ‘ t mentioned on the news. It just went by on the ticker tape at the bottom of the CNN screen. Let’s review some of Barack Obama ‘ s most recent actions since his inauguration:
His first call to any head of state, as president, was to Mahmoud Abbas,
leader of Fatah party in the Palestinian territory. His first one-on-one television interview with any news organization was with Al Arabia television. His first executive order was to fund/facilitate abortion(s) not just here within the U. S., but within the world, using U. S. taxpayer funds. He ordered Guantanamo Bay closed and all military trials of detainees halted. He ordered overseas CIA interrogation centers closed. He withdrew all charges against the masterminds behind the USS Cole and the “terror attack” on 9/11.
IT’S NEWS TO ME
A former science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher says the real purpose of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen on Dec. 7-18 is to use global warming hype as a pretext to lay the foundation for a one-world government. “At [the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in] Copenhagen this December, weeks away, a treaty will be signed,” Monkton told a Minnesota Free Market Institute audience on Thursday at Bethel University in St. Paul.
“Your president will sign it. Most of the Third World countries will sign it, because they think they’re going to get money out of it. Most of the left-wing regimes from the European Union will rubber stamp it. Virtually nobody won’t sign it,” he told the audience of some 700 attendees.
“The treaty says that a world government is going to be created. The word ‘government’ actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity. The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to Third World countries, in satisfaction of what is called, coyly, ‘climate debt’ – because we’ve been burning CO2 and they haven’t. We’ve been screwing up the climate and they haven’t. And the third purpose of this new entity, this government, is enforcement.”
In an hour and a half lecture illustrated by slides featuring scientific data on a wide range of climate issues, Monkton refuted claims made by former Vice President Al Gore in his movie and book entitled “An Inconvenient Truth,” as well as scientific arguments made by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Monckton argued that President Obama will sign the Copenhagen treaty at the December meeting, without seeking a two-thirds ratification of the treaty by the Senate, or any other type of Congressional approval.
ON THE LIGHTER SIDE
