This issue looks at Leon Panetta’s comments regarding Israel’s security, yet another anti-Semitic organization, the militant and communist elements of the Occupy movement, the capture of CIA operatives in Iran and Lebanon, the media’s censoring of the meaning of Thanksgiving, and the blessing of Thanksgiving turkeys by Allah.

Leon Panetta Places World’s Economy above Israel’s Security
Jerusalem Prayer Team reports:Israel is facing the threat of war-a war that is more likely to start in weeks or even days rather than months. The IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) have revealed that hundreds of Palestinian terrorists have been sent to Iran for special training in using advanced weaponry, including sophisticated Russian-made anti-tank missiles. Iran clearly hopes to use Hamas and Hezbollah as a shield against an Israeli attack on its nuclear weapons program. They believe that if they can bog down IDF troops and inflict casualties on them in sufficient numbers, coupled with their attacks on the civilian population, they can force Israel to withdraw…or perhaps not act at all.

Yet friends and allies including the United States are turning away from supporting Israel at this crisis moment. I cannot believe that our government is more concerned about the economic impact of a strike against Iran’s nuclear weapons program than it is about Israel’s security. Yet that’s exactly the point Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta made to Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak this weekend. Panetta warned of the “unintended consequences” of military action, saying that “there are going to be economic consequences to that that could impact not just our economy but the world economy.”

“Righteous Jews” Must Renounce Israel
Discover the Networks reports: A project of Deir Yassin Remembered, (RJO) was founded in 2003 to honor Jews “who have worked for the human rights of non-Jewish Palestinians.” By RJO’s telling, the Palestinian people “have been, and continue to be, depopulated, dispossessed, humiliated, tortured, and murdered in the name of political Zionism and its quest to create a Jewish state in the lands between the Mediterranean and the Jordan River.” “The root cause of bloodshed and conflict” in the Middle East, RJO elaborates, has been the “racist endeavors” of Zionists “to ‘pump in’ Jews and ‘pump out’ Palestinians from this land.”

Obama Adviser Urges ‘Militancy’ in Nationwide Occupy Protests
WorldNetDaily reports: Three days before an Occupy Oakland protest turned violent, United Steelworkers international president Leo Gerard, an adviser to President Obama, called for “more militancy” in Occupy movements across the U.S. Gerard serves on the board of a number of groups funded by billionaire George Soros, including organizations that reportedly helped to craft Obama’s “stimulus” and health-care laws. In an interview with progressive radio host Ed Schultz on Monday, Gerard stated, “I think what we need is, we need more militancy.” Read more.

Communist Party USA Gets Standing Ovation at Occupy Chicago Rally
Vision to America reports: During the tent city construction at Occupy Chicago on Michigan Ave, John Bachtell, a spokesperson from the national board of the Communist Party U.S.A., addressed the angry mob of nearly 3000. He claimed to “bring greetings and support” from the party, to the occupy movement. Bachtell received a very warm welcome and overwhelming applause from the “occupiers.”

Entire CIA Networks in Iran, Lebanon Discovered and Captured
Jerusalem Prayer Team reports:America’s ability to know and understand what is happening in the Middle East suffered a major blow with the discovery and capture of the CIA’s networks in Lebanon and Iran. More than a dozen informants were caught and are believed to have been executed. One insider described this intelligence disaster as the result of sloppy work by the American spy agency. “We were lazy,” he admitted.

Media Censoring the Meaning of Thanksgiving
Godfather Politics reports:If your children go to a public school, there’s a good chance that they won’t be told why they don’t have to go to school on Thursday. The same thing is true if they read accounts of the history of Thanksgiving in our nation’s newspapers. Here’s one from today’s issue of USA Today:

“The First Thanksgiving in 1621 celebrated abundance and friendship with everything tasty and wonderful the participants could gather in one place. It has been so ever since.”

No doubt true, but only about half true.

On Thursday, September 24, 1789, the first House of Representatives voted to recommend the First Amendment of the newly drafted Constitution to the states for ratification. The next day, Congressman Elias Boudinot from New Jersey proposed that the House and Senate jointly request of President Washington to proclaim a day of thanksgiving for “the many signal favors of Almighty God.” Boudinot said that he “could not think of letting the session pass over without offering an opportunity to all the citizens of the United States of joining, with one voice, in returning to Almighty God their sincere thanks for the many blessings he had poured down upon them.” Read More.

Has Your Thanksgiving Turkey been Blessed by Allah?
Godfather Politics reports: As you sit down with your family on Thanksgiving and consider offering a prayer of gratitude, be aware the turkey at the center of the table may have already been “blessed” – in the name of Allah. Customer service representatives from Butterball, one of America’s most popular Turkey brands, confirmed to WND that the company’s whole turkeys are – without being labeled as such – slaughtered according to Islamic “halal” standards. “Halal slaughter involves cutting the trachea, the esophagus and the jugular vein and letting the blood drain out while saying, ‘Bismillah allahu akbar’ – ‘in the name of Allah the greatest.
