Exposing “Agenda 21” PART THREE
Connecting the Dots
IT’S WORTH CONSIDERING
I was surprised to learn that Agenda 21 has been in the works for over twenty years. Back in 1992, Maurice Strong, Secretary General of the UN’s Rio Earth Summit, stated that current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class were NOT sustainable. Making the list were using fossil fuels, appliances, home and work air conditioning, and suburban housing.

Suddenly, connecting the dots becomes easier. Cap and Trade (with its pollution credit system), the Clean Air and Water Acts, and all those commercials touting the righteousness of “going green” are merely different ways to enforce Sustainable Development. Obama’s emphasis on “fairness” and his wealth redistribution goals fit right in, as do all the lawsuits to destroy dams (see previous article), reservoirs, and a host of man-made “environment killers.”

Haven’t you ever wondered why, with all the problems in the world, “going green” has been elevated to a higher priority than securing our borders? I hope it’s starting to make sense. The Obama administration will do nothing to stop the flood of illegal aliens because of his agreement (with the UN) to enforce Agenda 21.The UN claims that national borders are a “social injustice” and a prime example of racism. More specifically, SD proponents insist that borders are unjust because they “prohibit the migration of those from other nations into the United States to share our wealth.” Somehow, they fail to understand that the wealth they want shared was created by the very means they want to destroy-individual incentive, the free market, and capitalism.

AS I SEE IT
We must understand that under Sustainable Development, private property is an evil device used to create wealth for a few. Business ownership falls into the same category. If they had their way, individuals can be a “capital owner”; property and businesses can be kept in the individuals name (so we’ll be responsible for the taxes and expenses), but the “community” would hold the real control-a policy right out of the Socialist handbook.

The economic policy driving it all is the belief that the wealth of the world was made at the expense of the poor. If the lot of the poor is to be improved, you don’t train them to be productive. You take from the rich and give it to the poor, making Robin Hood proud. Where do you think President Obama’s “fairness” and wealth redistribution” beliefs came from? It’s an essential part of Agenda 21. In order to control the competition, it is advantageous to unite with select, large, powerful corporations and to excessively burden smaller companies with unmeetable regulations. The Obama bailouts and the merger with GM are right out of the SD guidelines, as was the EPA’s recent $6.8 million penalty of oil refiners for not blending cellulostic ethanol into gasoline, jet fuel, and other such products. You may recall news reports that pointed out that cellulostic ethanol does not yet exist.

Even Obama’s healthcare reform is right our of the SD handbook. Considering how huge the document is, it had to have been in the works for a long time. According to the American Policy Center’s research, it calls for rationing of healthcare in order to cut population in order to protect the environment.

To connect a few more dots, consider that under Sustainable Development:
1.    Humans are nothing special. We are simply “biological resources.” The environment always comes first, and humans always defile the environment.
2.    Individual rights must give way to the environment. We must sacrifice so our planet can live.
3.    Limited government, as advocated by our Founding Fathers, must never happen because the environmental crisis is too great and an all-controlling government is the only answer.

A lot of what we see happening can be explained if we understand these three principles, and they’re all a smokescreen to gain control. Sustainable Development is a masterful blending of socialism with its top-down control of the tools of the economy and fascism where property is owned in name only. “Going green” is the bait, and America has swallowed it hook line & sinker.

To learn more about AGENDA 21 and SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, contact the American Policy Center. They have a 3 disk DVD America’s Choice: Liberty or Sustainable Development as well as a detailed manual “Sustainable Development: The Wrenching Transformation of America, How we are losing our liberties.” These two resources present in detail how Agenda 21 is being forced on America and what we can do to expose and stop it.
