This edition looks at Ahmadinejad”s visit to Lebanon, Israeli leaders” dwindling support at home, Discovery Kids” new Muslim programing, and the Obama eligibility case filed with the Supreme Court.

 OUR ISRAELI CONNECTION

Joel Rosenberg reports

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in Beirut Wednesday morning for a highly provocative trip to Lebanon. He was greeted by tens of thousands of Radical Muslims as a hero of the Islamic Revolution and on Thursday visited the border with Israel. His mission: to rally the terrorist forces of Hezbollah for an apocalyptic war with the Jewish state that will set the stage for the coming of the Shia Islamic messiah known as the “Mahdi” or the “Twelfth Imam.” But annihilating Israel is not the ultimate objective for Ahmadinejad or Hezbollah. Israel, in the End Times theology of both Ahmadinejad and Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, is only the “little Satan.” The U.S., they believe, is the “Great Satan” and must be annihilated, too.

By large margins, American voters instinctively understand that the strengthening of the Iranian-Hezbollah alliance poses not only a grave and growing danger to Israel, but also to U.S. national security, especially if Iran soon acquires nuclear weapons. But voters are increasingly concerned that President Barack Obama and Congressional Democrats don”t get it. They worry Democrats have neither the wisdom nor the will to protect the American people or allies like Israel from Radical Islam, and this could cost their party at the polls in a few weeks. Americans are right to be worried. With Iran”s help, Hezbollah has become the most dangerous Shia Muslim terrorist organization in the world. Consider a sampling of Nasrallah”s statements in recent years:

* “Let the entire world hear me. Our hostility to the Great Satan [America] is absolute. . . . Regardless of how the world has changed after 11 September, “Death to America” will remain our reverberating and powerful slogan: “Death to America.””

* “We do not believe in multiple Islamic republics; we do believe, however, in a single Islamic world governed by a central government.”

* “Jerusalem and Palestine will not be regained with political games but with guns.”

* “America will remain the nation”s chief enemy and the greatest Satan of all. Israel will always be for us a cancerous growth that needs to be eradicated.”

* “I ask Almighty Allah . . . to make you the men who would clear the way for the Mahdi of this earth to establish divine justice.”

One Jerusalem reports

Haaretz political reporter Yossi Verter in the weekend magazine (published in Hebrew) reports new polls from Kamil Fuchs which he says should be headlined : “Government in Free Fall.”  Netanyahu lost 12 per cent support since June 2010. Foreign Minister Lieberman lost 20 per cent support. He is referring to a poll in which it was asked if you are satisfied with the prime minister–40 per cent said yes while in June the number was 52 per cent Verter says that Netanyahu is losing support on the right who suspect him of having adopted leftist views, while the left still believes BB is dogmatic and fearful to take any decisive moves. Verter believes that the moderate right is dropping Lieberman because they believe he is politicizing Israeli foreign policy with his UN speech and the damage he does to Israel”s image. Barak is by far the weakest–he has dropped in approval from 42 per cent in June to 27 per cent.

IT’S NEWS TO ME

These Islamic butt-kickers are

ready to bring truth, justice and indoctrination

to impressionable Western minds. Scheduled for release on the new network The Hub — formerly Discovery Kids — which launches today (Time Warner and DirecTV carry it in the city), is a cartoon beloved in the Arab world and received timidly in Britain last year, “The 99.” The program chronicles the adventures of 99 superheroes, each of whom embodies an attribute of Allah. Jabbar is a Muslim Incredible Hulk. Mumita is wicked fast. But Wonder Woman-style cleavage has been banned from the ladies. And, in this faith-based cartoon, hair-hiding head scarves are mandatory for five characters, not including burqa babe Batina the Hidden.

A new court filing that returns the issue of Barack Obama”s eligibility to the U.S. Supreme Court warns that unless the judiciary makes a definitive decision in the dispute, it will be the same as allowing the political interests in the United States to amend the U.S. Constitution at will. The case alleges Congress failed to follow the Constitution, which “provides that Congress must fully qualify the candidate “elected” by the Electoral College Electors.” In an announcement about the filing, Mario Apuzzo said Obama not only has not proven, as required under the Constitution, his status as a “natural born citizen,” but “he has hidden all his early life records including his original long-form birth certificate, early school records, college records, travel and passport records needed to prove he is even a born citizen of the United States.”

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE
How is it that one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to start a campfire?

Why is negotiating with Muslim leaders a bad idea? Listen to an interview I did with TruNews not long ago by clicking on the arrow below.
