On March 29 I posted an article condemning continued U.S. aid to the Palestinian Authority-money that went as “salaries” of imprisoned terrorists. The gravy train continues despite the 2010 funding legislation that lays out the rules for supplying money to the West Bank and Gaza, stating that the Secretary of State “shall take all appropriate steps to ensure that such assistance is not provided to or through any individual, private or government entity, or educational institution that the secretary knows or has reason to believe advocates, plans, sponsors, engages in, or has engaged in, terrorist activity.”

Well, the madness continues, only now it’s in Egypt, which is inching closer and closer to coming completely under the control of the Muslim Brotherhood. Wow! Who could have seen that one coming? Anyway, ignoring the aid requirements in the West Bank worked so well that our State Department is trying it in Egypt. Despite the congressional law requiring that foreign aid funds in the Middle East be tied to the “Democracy Movement,” Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have authorized $1.3 billion in U.S. aid to Egypt. So, what’s the problem? The Muslim Brotherhood is as interested in Jeffersonian democracy as China is concerned over human rights.

Despite Cairo’s failure to meet the required “pro-democracy goals,” the Obama administration rationalized the aid for Egypt by claiming that “U.S. national security required continued military assistance.” According to State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland, “These decisions reflect America’s over-arching goal: to maintain our strategic partnership with an Egypt made stronger and more stable by a successful transition to democracy.” The brilliant rationale continues as U.S. officials said the decision to release the aid also avoided “disruption of existing defense contracts,” which could have led to expensive termination costs that could have exceeded $2 billion. Clinton further certified that Egypt is meeting its obligations under its peace treaty with Israel, an additional requirement for U.S. aid to flow.

Are Obama, Clinton, and Nuland on crack, or do they think we are? Egypt’s transition to democracy? Egypt is meeting its treaty obligation to Israel? Are they kidding? Egypt is on the verge of “trashing” the treaty, and the situation on the border with Israel is as volatile as it has ever been. Egyptians are blowing up Israeli pipelines, instigating terrorist attacks, and cutting off gas supplies to Israel.

What happened in Iran in 1979 took the Carter administration completely by surprise. It was a stealth movement that went unnoticed until it was too late. Egypt is a different story. The Muslim Brotherhood has been completely upfront about its intentions, and they are not to work arm-in-arm with the United States in any way, shape or form. The MB’s goal is for America to become an Islamic state ruled by Sharia law. So why on earth would our State Department continue its love affair with the Brotherhood?

Did you know that Secretary Clinton’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Huma Abedin (the wife of

Huma Abedin

Anthony Weiner), has direct ties to the Brotherhood? Her mother, Saleha Mahmood Abedin, is associated with the Muslim Brotherhood, and her brother, Hassan Abedin, has been working with Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal on the project of promoting the Muslim agenda in the West. As Clinton’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Huma Abedin has access to most, if not all of the State Department’s records and operations. Do you see a problem here? How can this be happening? Where are the outcries? Are 50% of voting Americans really willing to allow this to continue for another four years? Has America gone mad?

I went to buy some camouflage trousers the other day, but I couldn’t find any.
